So today I was back on the beach with four discover scuba students. And we had fun… all four stayed in again, it is always so much easier when the weather is good and the water warm. Anyway, we had a good dive, although there was a little bit of upping and downing. One guy needed a bit of a helping hand keeping down initially, but once we were a little deeper, he seemed to level off a bit.
Sadly we didn’t see anything particularly huge or exciting, but there was enough to keep the students interested, as they hadn’t seen any of it previously, so we saw the usual parrot fish, puffer fish, cornet fish, pipe fish and butterflies to name a few.
On to kitten stuff… our poor little neighbour is perking up a bit. I’m still not sure if he will survive, as he has complications that could make things a bit hairy for him. But he seems livelier.. and rather than lying in the shade all forlorn, he now jumps up at the sound of our door… I have been sneakily mixing his medicine in with a bit of smelly fish which he loves. So that is all good.
