One thousand and counting

So I finally get the thousandth dive logged… ok I’m not really counting much anymore but that is a bit of a landmark, so guess I should recognise it. It was actually the last dive for a referral course I was teaching, which turned out to be quite good fun so that was good. Ok I didn’t do it naked, but Amr did do his bit to help me freeze my tits off by catching me mid-dive and opening the ankle seals of my wetsuit to flush all the nice warm water out replacing it with the chilly stuff. Ok I am exaggerating, it is not exactly arctic here. Having said that though, I did fun dive in Tiran yesterday and it was bizzarrely a chilly 23ºC brrrr. I guess there must have been some random current coming either down from the north or up from the depths. Cool dive though, I saw two free-swimming morays, and Jackson reef is just soooooo pretty.
